A regional and national perspective. The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) include targets that all countries and regions, from low to high income should be aiming to achieve. But how do we assess progress towards those goals?

In this lecture session will look at how data analysis can help track progress towards the targets, and critically assess delivery of the SDGs. In doing so the lecture will reflect on a project in the East Midlands (UK) to set up a Business Intelligence Unit that can inform on issues such as sustainability.
