Rethinking social behaviour standards, the impact that the use of AI will have on human society, particularly with regards to autonomy in decision-making is likely to be societally challenging.
This lecture will discuss how a responsible approach to innovation can help to shape the development of ethical AI systems. It will examine the challenges that the implementation of standards, codes and frameworks will need to address, against a backdrop of wealthy corporate innovators, whilst legislators frantically try to regulate the behaviour of a genie that cannot be put back in the bottle.
