On 15th November 2021 a MoA signing ceremony was held between Malaysian UAV Drones Activist Society (MUDAS) and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU). Both seek to facilitate opportunities for industry, faculty and student engagement with the latest industrial practices, research activities, engineering, technology and entrepreneurial development to benefit the growing need for technology and innovation in the unmanned systems/drone industry allowing for entrepreneurs, faculty and students to apply new knowledge and technical advancement.

The MoA was signed by Dr. Hari Narayanan P.Ondiveeran, Vice Chancellor of APU and Dato’ Brg.Gen.(B) Hj. Mohamed Nazri, President of MUDAS.

Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Vinesh Thiruchelvam, Deputy Vice Chancellor, APU, briefed on the R&D activities in Drone Applications under APU’s CREDIT & ISUC Research Centres. Briefing on MUDAS’s initiatives and programmes was presented by William Alvisse, Secretary of MUDAS.

Present at the signing ceremony were Executive Committee members of APU’s Integrated Sustainability and Urban Creativity (ISUC) Centre and the Executive Committee members of MUDAS.
