Negotiating with cultural practices is an aspect of sustainability among cultural practitioners. This conversation provides a platform to discuss the cultural dimension of performing arts when modernity and tradition has been collided, collaborated, and sustained the art forms.

Transformation of cultural practices could be interpreted as divergence of traditional values and collective identity whereas individual identity has been re-defined and re-emerged by contemporary practice. The dialogue will consider new developments in musical traditions in the midst of contemporary Bangkok.
